FAUG vs PUBG Mobile India ⬌ know which is best?

After the ban of PUBG in India last year and announcement of FAUG by Akshay Kumar created an excitement and a bit of confusion between FAUG and PUBG among Indian gamers. So it is necessary to know the difference between them and one you should try and you should download FAUG or wait for PUBG Mobile India?

It is as if the world has come to a stop for Indian gamers. PUBG ban heavily affected the Indian eSports community. But after the announcement of FAUG by Akshay Kumar, KRAFTON PUBG after separating from Tencent continuously started  trying to make hype so that Indian game FAUG doesn't capture its Indian Market Space.

While both games are being teased every other day, the launch date of the FAU-G is 26th January and PUBG Mobile India is yet to be revealed. PUBG Corporation has announced to relaunch PUBG Mobile as PUBG Mobile India very soon. However, the Indian government is yet to approve the relaunch of the game. 

From amateur players to pro athletes, all of them have had their stances regarding FAUG’s release date and the trailer. Now, a regular feature in many eSports stories, Almaaz Rahman, a young eSports athlete for ESN says  “People love PUBG, and if the game makes a comeback, everything else would be just on the side.”

Even Gourav Joshi, a well-known name in the PUBG Mobile community says “Even when I finally play FAUG, I might just play it for fun, because it’s a new genre of gaming in India. I highly doubt a story mode/action game could reach a competitive level,”  he adds. This doubt is what prevails in every eSports athletes’ mind. The backdrop of the game is set in Galwan Valley, where essentially no guns are allowed. According to the agreement on border disputes and the maintenance of peace until the final resolution, 1933, which External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar referred to, restrains India and China from using arms– a flaw is most prominently seen in the game– the soldiers were using arms to fire at the opposite troops.

How is FAU-G different from PUBG Mobile India

1) This one is a new game: FAU-G is a new game with a fresh take. The PUBG Mobile India is a tailored version of the original PUBG Mobile game. The new Indian version of the game will come with features best suited to Indian players.

2) Episodes are based on real events : The FAUG company nCORE Games previously revealed a sight of the first episode, which showed the Indian army at the Galwan Valley border. The company has revealed that the first episode of the FAU-G will be based on the Galwan Valley episode. This means, unlike PUBG Mobile, FAUG will be based on real incidents. About weapons will be used in FAUG or not, this information is yet to be revealed.

3) FAU-G is an action game: After comparing FAU-G to PUBG Mobile India, the two games are going to be very different from one another. FAU-G is an action game while PUBG Mobile India has been a Battle Royale game just like its global version. Although FAUG company nCORE has said that FAU-G will not be a competitor to PUBG Mobile India.

4) Players’ data will be safe: PUBG’s parent company KRAFTON recently signed a deal with Microsoft Azure to have its host PUBG games because at the time of announcing the return of PUBG Mobile, the company announced that privacy and security of players’ data will be the two most important aspects of the game. In FAU-G’s case, the privacy of players’ information will never be an issue as they will be stored within the country.

5) Made in India:  PUBG Mobile India is not particularly made in India, despite changing the name . This is a modified version of the original game developed by South Korea-based PUBG Corporation. But FAU-G is made in India developed by Bengaluru based nCore Games.

6) Information about platforms : As we have different types of gamers who uses different platforms to play their game like PUBG avails users to play on different platforms with different versions like PUBG pc, PUBG mobile, PUBG lite mobile  , PUBG ps4, Xbox One . But FAUG company nCore didn't revealed about its platforms i.e. FAUG will be available on different platforms or not other than Android and ios.

Conclusion 

FAUG’s release date, though exciting, has not been able to give any kind of relief to the Indian Gamers after the trailer release. In the waking hours, the Indian gaming audience still watches PUBG mobile stream and at night the dreams of getting their favorite game haunt them.
